Product Producer Stories
Thesis project in collaboration with Industree Crafts Foundation, Bengaluru, Aug - Oct 2020
"Industree works with women entrepreneurs and artisans, particularly with marginalized and tribal communities in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and Ethiopia as well. Industree works towards upskilling rural women artisans and helps them connect with national and global markets. Through our interventions, we have impacted over 500000, producers in the last 20 years and have created markets worth USD 58 Million."
As the main aim of the non-profit foundation is to empower rural women entrepreneurs, through my project I aimed to focus on achieving that through recognition.

The aim of the #productproducerstories campaign is to represent and recognize the rural producers, to create awareness and acknowledge their efforts. The objective was to empower, encourage, and support them while promoting participation in rural entrepreneurial activities.
The aim was also to also highlight the importance and role of the rural producers/ artisanal community in the growth and development of a developing economy.
The campaign intends to tell the stories of these women who have faced varied mental, physical and financial problems but have overcome them by becoming entrepreneurs and independent women. The purpose of telling their stories to the audience and mainly the consumer is to promote the artisans by representing and recognizing their community.
